It's crunch time! They’re crisp, mild in flavor and have a touch of pepperiness that adds a perfect component to anything! Can you guess what ingredient we’re talking about!? That’s right… radishes! They come in so many varieties and can be used in so many dishes; however, many people only scratch the surface when utilizing them. There is so much more to these beautiful root vegetables! Let’s dig deeper into how we can fully use radishes to enhance a multitude of dishes, focusing on these 5 styles.

Raw

This crunchy root vegetable features a flavor that is peppery, invigorating, and hydrating. Try adding raw radishes into sandwiches, use them as a garnish on charcuterie boards, salads, such as a Cucumber Feta and Radish Salad, or mix them into vinaigrettes.


Pickled

With their tangy, slightly crunchy, and subtly sweet profile, pickled radishes bring a vibrant kick to any dish. You can incorporate them into avocado toast, brisket sandwiches, noodle bowls, or enjoy them directly from the jar!


Roasted

Oven roasted radishes develop a mildly sweet flavor, akin to that of a turnip. They make an excellent addition to grain or pasta bowls, or can be served as a side dish enhanced with herbs and spices.

Soups / Stews
