Vegan Chocolate Mousse — Tiny Spoon Chef

Before you tofu-haters judge us, just give it a try! You wouldn’t even know it was vegan if we hadn’t told you.

The Stuff:

Mousse:

  • 1 cup chocolate (whatever your preference)
  • 1 16oz. package silken tofu
  • 1/3 c real maple syrup
  • splash of vanilla (optional but recommended!)
Topping Suggestions:

  • Fresh berries
  • Shaved chocolate
  • Coconut
  • Pistachios/ Nuts
  • Graham crackers
  • Extra whipped cream (vegan or not so vegan)

The Steps:

🥄 Melt chocolate in microwave at short intervals until smooth and creamy.

🥄 Combine tofu, maple syrup, and vanilla in a blender until smooth. While the blender is running, add in the melted chocolate and blend until well combined.

🥄 Pour mousse into serving dishes and refrigerate until the mousse is set.

🥄 Top with your favorite toppings or go buffet style and let your guests make their own!
