At Tiny Spoon, we like to think about families, and frankly, the world as composed dishes - flavors balanced in harmony, texture, and a fully-rounded experience. We gather inspiration by tasting food of all kinds and marveling at unique combinations.
Every family unit is different. We know you know that, but what we’re saying is what works for one family won’t necessarily work for another.
Many of our clients love to have things assembled and ready to roll with instructions on reheating and the works. Others enjoy the disassembled, “I want to mix it myself” option.
What works for your family, at various stages, will look different depending on the year, the month, the week, and you know what… we don’t want you to settle on just one way.
Tiny Spoon is here to roll with the punches with you and lend a hand nurturing and feeding you and your loved ones. If you’re into more of a "bits & pieces" plan, we do that!
But, Janice, if you're doing simple things - why is it still so special to have Tiny Spoon Chef's helping hands?
Did you know prepared foods are often prepared differently to, well... prepare them ahead of time?
This means additives, stabilizers and other tidbits that aren’t readily available in your own kitchen make their way into your meals. Remember a couple years ago when there was a big kerfuffle about the preservatives they coat all cut "fresh" fruit with to lengthen the shelf life? I'd like my pineapple and melon with a side of nothing, thanks.
And those "healthy" frozen meals? 😳 Take a moment and look at the ingredients list. I dare you to tell me what half of that stuff is without Googling it.
If you ask Chef Matt or Chef Laura to make you burritos to freeze, not only will you have saved time (and LOVE them) but we’ll also be able to tell you exactly what went into your belly.
Ready for a dose of sass?! 💁🏻♀️
We’re into real honest food over the miracle of science that makes your bread last for 4 weeks. Perfect, lip smackin’ bites sans flashy (and often unnecessary) science is our jam.
We will say no (politely of course) if you ask us to make something with a fake product that we know isn't good for you.
Our love for you and the food you eat is beyond just what’s in the meals we create.
