Growing up in McHenry, Illinois, dad was the chef of the house, instilling in me a lifelong passion for cooking. I took my amateur talents to culinary school at Madison College, where I honed my skills by flipping burgers and grilling steaks. Not exactly the gourmet experience you might expect, but hey, everyone's gotta start somewhere!
I like to spend my free time fishing, golfing, playing baseball, and hiking with my dogs, Leila & Dani.
One culinary highlight for me would have to be cooking the food for my cousin's wedding. I spent hours smoking a beef brisket and preparing pulled pork, and everyone there loved the food. But let's be real - the main highlight of the night was my killer dance moves!
