Adopted at the age of four, Caitlyn grew up in Malvern, Pennsylvania, where her passion for food was ignited. Her early culinary inspirations came from her grandmother’s kitchen, where the aroma of homemade spaghetti and meatballs still lingers in her memory, a comforting reminder of family and tradition.

Caitlyn’s path to becoming a chef was unexpected yet fateful. Initially a gymnast training for the Olympics, a severe injury ended her athletic dreams. It was during a summer culinary camp in Boston that Caitlyn discovered her true calling. Despite initial reservations, she fell in love with the art of cooking by the second day.

This newfound passion set her on a trajectory that would lead her to prestigious kitchens and under the mentorship of renowned chefs like George Perrier and Daniel Boulud. Caitlyn's culinary career also includes a transformative stint in Italy, where she honed her skills in traditional Italian cuisine and experienced the delights of truffle hunting and cheese making.

Travel is a major passion, with New Zealand topping her list of favorite destinations. From skydiving to swimming with dolphins, Caitlyn embraces every opportunity for exploration.
