Emily’s culinary heart sings for Italian and seasonal foods, especially pizza. She discovered her love for making pizza at 22, a skill she believes was passed down from her great grandfather who owned a pizzeria.
Growing up in West Hempstead, Long Island, Emily was immersed in the food world early on. Her family owned a bagel store where she spent her days playing with dough and interacting with customers. Family dinners were a sacred tradition, sparking her love for cooking. One of her first culinary triumphs was mastering chicken Parmesan with her dad.
Emily's career highlights are as impressive as they are delicious. She introduced her first dish on a menu—a mouthwatering corn pizza (uhh, yumm!)—and became a sous chef at 23, beating her goal of 25. She also loves mentoring young chefs and helping them sharpen their skills.
