Meet Chef Tyler, a culinary storyteller who turns simple ingredients into unforgettable moments of joy and connection.
Growing up on Long Island's south shore, Tyler’s passion for food started with the fresh seafood and Italian-American traditions that defined his childhood—think clams, lobster rolls, and Grandma’s famous Noodle Kugel. It wasn’t until a family dinner, where he recreated her iconic dish to rave reviews, that he realized the power of food to bring memories to life.
Chef Tyler’s culinary journey began at just 15, hustling at a local Chinese restaurant before diving into the ramen scene in Providence, RI. His hunger for learning led him across the globe to Le Cordon Bleu Australia, where Sydney’s sprawling streets of Asian cuisine transformed his curiosity into a full-blown obsession. From the umami-rich dishes of Japan to the bold spices of Thailand, Tyler has mastered the art of crafting vibrant flavors that sing.
With an impressive resume spanning mom-and-pop eateries to high-end fine dining, Tyler’s career highlights include filming Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives with Guy Fieri while serving as executive chef at Roses Daughter.
Whether making burrata by hand (he’s churned out 12,000 pounds!) or dicing onions blindfolded, his dedication to craftsmanship and flavor is unmatched.
Off the clock, you’ll find Tyler unwinding on the beach with his mini Schnoodle, Elvis, a cold beer in hand, and dreams of returning to Sydney’s food scene. For Tyler, the best part of being in the kitchen isn’t just the rhythm of sizzling pans or the aroma of fresh herbs—it’s that first bite, where everything comes together and joy is served.
