Meet Erica, one of our wonderful client success specialists at Tiny Spoon Chef, where she’s making magic happen one solved problem at a time.
Raised in Virginia Beach, VA, Erica’s culinary journey started early—like, arm-deep-in-spaghetti-as-a-toddler early. Nowadays, she’s all about the carb life, with a particular weakness for pasta, bread, and the dopamine-boosting goodness of Italian arancini. (Seriously, fried risotto? Yes, please!)
But Erica’s talents don’t stop at making your day easier—she has a nose that would make a bloodhound jealous. She can sniff ingredients in dishes like a culinary Sherlock Holmes thanks to pregnancy. And speaking of company, her two cats, Jack and Jingles, plus her trio of Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Pearl, Marble, and Lenny, keep her entertained with their antics. Lenny, named after John Lennon, is practically a rock star in his own right—if rock stars went "BAAAA" outside your kitchen window.
In the kitchen, Erica’s all about the experience—where the sights, sounds, and smells come together like the perfect recipe. Baking bread is her ultimate Zen moment, filling her home with that irresistible aroma that can only be topped by the satisfaction of slicing into a fresh loaf. Whether it’s in her garden, her kitchen, or on the phone with a client, Erica’s mantra is “No worries.” Because with her around, everything is totally figure-out-able—and she’ll probably make you laugh while she’s at it.
When she’s not saving the day for clients or playing goat-whisperer, Erica enjoys getting her hands dirty in her indoor garden with her handsome hubby and playful son, Noah! With three aeroponic towers in her sunroom, she’s growing everything from herbs to tomatoes, proving that her green thumb is just as sharp as her culinary instincts. And if she had it her way, she’d be in Italy, indulging her pasta obsession firsthand. But until then, you’ll find her at her favorite local speakeasy-style tapas joint, Still, sampling all the small plates her heart desires.
