Kara grew up in the quaint beach town of Point Pleasant, NJ—far removed from the reality show portrayal of the Jersey Shore. A lover of food that warms both body and soul, she’s especially drawn to ramen and pho.

One of her fondest culinary memories is from studying abroad in Paris, where she learned to craft pain au chocolat in a local boulangerie. This intricate pastry-making experience became one of her most cherished memories.

When not immersed in her marketing work, Kara’s adventurous spirit leads her to new cities and natural landscapes, whether hiking mountains or combing the beach for seashells. She's currently on a quest to visit all 50 states, having checked off 36 so far, and dreams of exploring the Galapagos Islands. She’s a proud cat mom to Olive and has a not-so-secret talent for both singing and dancing, with over 20 years of dance experience and a history of performing in musicals and show choir.

Kara’s marketing career boasts impressive highlights, including leading social media strategy for a fitness studio, spearheading a company rebrand within weeks of starting a new role in San Francisco, and hosting a webinar that set new company records for registration and attendance. She loves connecting with people, finding joy in meaningful conversations and shared experiences.

Her favorite restaurants reflect her love of travel and culinary exploration: Buvette, an intimate French spot in NYC's West Village, and Souvla in San Francisco, where she dreams of their unforgettable Chicken salad and Greek fries. When she’s in the kitchen herself, Kara sets the mood with jazz or Frank Sinatra, dancing as she cooks with the scents of fresh basil and homemade tomato sauce filling the air.
